Among Third's prominent neighbors in Grand Center is public television station KETC-TV, Channel 9, and high in its program lineup is the Emmy Award-winning Living St. Louis. Ruth Ezell, one of the producers, visited Third Baptist to tell viewers the story of this historic church in the center of the city.

And she notes that the church prides itself on being diverse, welcoming and unified, and its congregation, which varies by race, income, and social background, reveals this.
