Children Celebrate the Church's 154th Birthday

During children's church in January 2005, our children learned about the history of Third Baptist. Church Historian Betty James provided pictures and other information about the church's early years. The children learned that a small group first met in a storefront downtown 154 years ago, then moved to other locations before breaking ground at our current location at Grand and Washington. We paused to thank God for his faithfulness through the years. The children were reminded that someday, when they're old, someone at Third Baptist may look at their pictures and laugh at their old-fashioned clothes and hairstyles!
